The Times Group, the broadcast arm of Times Group (India), picked up an array of factual entertainment series from Blue Ant International, for the recently launched Real Estate and Property Business channel – Magicbricks NOW, including Cabin Truckers (26×30’ HD), a series following the incredible exploits of hauling colossal cabins to remote, picturesque locations. Other lifestyle fan favorites, include What’s For Sale? With A View! (13×30’ HD), My Retreat (26×30’ HD) and Reno My Reno (13×30’ HD) were also purchased by this broadcaster.
Several hours of nature and wildlife content have also been purchased across Asian territories. Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific (South Asia) and CCTV have both picked up Nomads Of The Serengeti (5×52’ HD), a stunning five-part series following the wildebeest on their odyssey across some of Africa’s most incredible locales. Next Step Company (Thailand) has acquired Canada Over The Edge (52×60’ HD) another breathtaking nature and wildlife series that explores features that define the rugged beauty and history of Canada.
NBCUniversal International Networks (Asia) has purchased both seasons of Paranormal Survivor (20×60’ HD) showcasing terrifying real-life stories of encounters with the supernatural.
RTL CBS Asia Entertainment (South East Asia) has picked up Land Speed Heroes (6×60’ HD), Prank You (6×30’ HD) and Wild Ride (16×30’ HD). Other acquisitions in South Korea include the purchase of Warships (6×60’ HD) by KFN and Live Here Buy This! S2 (26×30’ HD) by Homestory Channel.
