(Toronto, ON, February 1, 2017) – Makeful, a Blue Ant Media brand, is celebrating this Spring with special wedding-themed content on bemakeful.com, as well as a multitude of new maker and DIY-inspired series on Makeful TV to coincide with the channel’s eight-week free preview beginning Monday, February 5. Headlining the new line-up is the world premiere of Crazy Beautiful Weddings, a brand new original series that follows indie event planner and stylist Lynzie Kent who uses inspiration from contemporary trends in fashion, art and decor to create stunning, custom-created weddings that reflect each couple’s unique love story. Crazy Beautiful Weddings premieres only on Makeful on Tuesday, February 20 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Crazy Beautiful Weddings (World Premiere, Season 1) premieres Tuesday, February 20 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. This new Makeful original 10 x 30-minute series gives audiences a behind-the-scenes look at how indie event planner Lynzie Kent steers clear of typical wedding-industry cliches and creates truly unique, bespoke celebrations that borrow from contemporary, real-world trends in fashion, art and decor. Each episode ends by revealing Lynzie’s stunning decor and offers a touching glimpse of the couple’s surprise and delight.

Best Cake Wins (World premiere, Season 1) premieres Thursday, March 15 at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT. This new Makeful original 10 x 30-minute series features a fun and friendly baking competition in each episode that sees two cake-makers battle it out in an attempt to make one child’s most awesome birthday cake imaginable a reality.

Landscape Artist of the Year (Canadian Premiere, Season 3) premieres Tuesday, March 20 at 10 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. PT. This Makeful fan-favourite competition series is back with a brand new season, which sees a new crop of aspiring landscape artists in the UK demonstrate their unique painting talents in a bid to impress the judges as the stand out landscape artist of the year.

New episodes of continuing programming

The Great Interior Design Challenge (Season 3) airs Mondays, at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. Hosted by Tom Dyckhoff, the latest installment of this competition-based series features a group of amateur interior designers who have three days to impress both the judges and homeowners with their design.

Craft It Yourself (Season 1) airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. A duo of talented show participants the joy creating their own home decor by hand, with projects that including painting tiles, weaving, candle making, glass blowing, screen printing, felt making, tie dying and more.

Extreme Cakemakers (Season 2) airs Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. PT. New episodes take viewers behind the scenes of what it takes to create show-stopping mega cakes by some of the best bakers in the business.

An original scripted comedy on Makeful

Rounding out the lead into the springtime wedding season, Makeful will premiere Rogue Bridal, brand new, Makeful original scripted comedy pilot, created in part with funding from the Canadian Media Fund (CMF). The series follows the fish-out-water struggle of Jules, a disgraced, high-end wedding planner who has embarked on reinventing herself as an independent DIY wedding wizard with the help of her marriage-adverse sister, Devyn. Rogue Bridal premieres Thursday, April 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
