Toronto, ON (March 17, 2015) – Blue Ant Media announced today the appointment of Andrew Lane to Director, Digital Solutions for its Media Solutions division. In this role, Lane will oversee development and creation of original branded video, web and mobile content for clients as well as lead monetization opportunities for all of the media company’s domestic digital products.
Lane arrives at Blue Ant Media from Weber Shandwick, where he built and led the agency’s digital, social and video custom content team for over six years, working with a diverse range of clients including McCormick, Unilever, 3M, Sysomos and Ontario Tourism. Lane’s previous work includes launching his own digital content agency, nitch* and roles at Stadium Digital (formerly MRX) as Director, Digital Business and marblemedia as Brand Development Manager. A member of the Canadian Marketing Association’s Digital Marketing Council and Board member for Interactive Ontario, Lane has also acted as an advisor for both the Bell Fund and the Ontario Media Development Corporation.
