Land Acknowledgement

Blue Ant Media’s Toronto office is built on unceded and treaty lands that have been home to many different Indigenous peoples, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. Today many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples live here. The city is also the home of settlers, new and old, from around the globe.

Celebrating creativity is one of our core values. Through our work, we have the opportunity to acknowledge truth, commit to action and education regarding history and ongoing inequities, and amplify the voices of Indigenous communities.

Acknowledging the land we work and live on is just the first step. At Blue Ant Media, we will continue to work together building respectful relationships with creators who tell stories of healing, decolonization and joy.
