Nationwide free preview now on in over 10 million homes
Toronto, ON (March 6, 2015) – Blue Ant Media today unveiled its spring programming lineup for T+E. The specialty channel focusing on adventure and suspense series kicks off its schedule on Sunday, March 8 with new shows including So You Think You’d Survive, Boomtowners, Walking the Nile, and Bear Grylls: Mission Survive, plus fresh episodes of perennial favourites BBQ Crawl, Boogeymen and Wives with Knives.
To ensure maximum exposure of the schedule packed with new content, T+E is in free preview with cable and satellite providers coast-to-coast during March and April. During this window, television customers can not only access the channel, but also catch up on T+E programs through VOD offerings on select providers.

T+E’s spring season opens with the premiere of So You Think You’d Survive on Sunday, March 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT that offers everything from shark attacks and floodwaters to tornadoes and mudslides. This new eight-episode series will bring audiences stories from real-life survivors and experts alike, as they share tips for taking control—and making it out alive.
Walking the Nile adds to the season’s excitement with an incredible journey seeing host Levison Wood travelling the length of the River Nile by foot. Premiering Wednesday, April 1 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the series follows Wood’s seven-million step journey through Africa’s most spectacular locations. Pushed to his emotional and physical limits, Wood experiences the continent at ground level, finding both beauty and danger along the way.
On Tuesday, April 14 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, Boomtowners, a new, exclusive series, will transport audiences to Williston, North Dakota, where the annual wage is 41 percent higher than the national average. The series explores how a modern-day oil boom changed two American cities: Williston and Sidney, Montana. Boomtowners sheds light on the people who uprooted their lives to work long hours for high pay—and how the road to riches is paved with unexpected challenges.
Later this spring is Bear Grylls: Mission Survive. This new and exclusive series will show a celebrity expedition team, pushed to their physical and emotional limits. Issued daily mission briefings by Bear, the team navigates through treacherous obstacles, while journeying through a dangerous and dense jungle, testing their ability to adapt, improvise and overcome in one of the world’s most hostile environments.
Rounding out the spring season are returning series Wives with Knives premiering on Monday, March 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT (Season 3), BBQ Crawl (Season 3) premiering on Tuesday, April 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT and Boogeymen (Season 2), premiering on Monday, May 4 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
