Toronto, ON (May 29, 2015) – Blue Ant International, the producers and distributors of one of the world’s largest 4K Nature library, have announced the acquisition of a new documentary titled Jago: A Life Underwater, ahead of Realscreen West.
The documentary hails from Under Dog Films Ltd. Producer and Director James Reed, who has taken audiences on breathtaking journeys with films such as Disneynature’s Chimpanzees, Bears and Monkey Kingdom, as well as programs Nature Shock and Shark. Reed’s impressive portfolio of series and films, which span topics such as nature, wildlife and natural history, have aired internationally on BBC, Discovery and National Geographic.
“We are pleased to introduce this new documentary, filled with stunning imagery, to our roster for Realscreen West. The addition of Jago: A Life Underwater illustrates that Blue Ant International continues to be the destination for buyers worldwide who are looking for 4K content,” said Solange Atwood, SVP, International, Blue Ant Media.
Jago: A Life Underwater (1×60’ HD & 4K or 1×90’ HD & 4K) is the story of Rohani – an 80 year-old hunter who hobbles around on land but who dives like a fish on a single breath, descending to great depths for several minutes to stalk his prey like a true underwater predator. From a ramshackle hut on the Sulawesi Sea, this yoda-like old man tells his story, recreated on 4K with the most beautiful images of the Bajau ever captured.
