(Toronto, ON, July 14, 2015) – Cottage Life Media, a Blue Ant Media partnership, announced today that Terry Sellwood, President, Cottage Life Media has made the personal decision to retire in August 2015. The company has also announced that Penny Caldwell, Editor, Cottage Life Magazine has been appointed to Publisher of the publication, with Michelle Kelly, current Executive Editor, assuming the role of Editor.
In his 15 years with Cottage Life Media, Sellwood oversaw the strategic direction of the company’s publications Cottage Life, Cottage Life West, Outdoor Canada and Explore Magazine (2000-2012) and its consumer shows across Canada. Charged with growing Cottage Life Media’s profile, Sellwood was the key driver in the company’s success, contributing to its evolution onto new platforms in digital, broadcast television and social media.
