(Toronto, ON, March 16, 2016) – T+E is kicking off a four-week national free preview on March 28th that will give viewers a line-up of brand new programming packed with adventure and heart-pounding suspense. The chills begin with the highly anticipated second season of T+E’s top-rated original series, Paranormal Survivor, premiering on Friday, April 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The channel will also debut brand new series sure to have viewers on the edge of their seats including Killing Bigfoot, Murder U, Badlands Texas and Kings of the Wild.

“This April, T+E brings audiences coast to coast a packed line-up of exclusive, suspenseful series,” said Jamie Schouela, EVP, Canadian Networks, Blue Ant Media “The return of our hit Paranormal Survivor will set the stage for several new series that promise to deliver the kind of heart-stopping stories that our viewers love.”

Paranormal fans can tune into T+E between April 4th and 16th to catch a special broadcast event, 13 Days of Horror, which will offer a 13-day marathon packed with our most hair-raising programming, sure to give the most level-headed viewer goosebumps.

New April Programming:

Paranormal Survivor (Season 2, Original Series, Canadian Premiere) kicks off T+E’s new lineup on Friday, April 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. For those who still don’t believe in ghosts, Season 2 of Paranormal Survivor will have audiences thinking twice about strange shadows and sudden chills. Each episode will get inside the heads of survivors who share their first-hand experiences with the supernatural, brought to life through terrifying re-enactments. Every new episode comes with a single warning—be prepared to be very afraid.

Killing Bigfoot (New Series, Canadian Premiere) debuts Thursday, April 14 at 10 p.m. ET/PT and follows two polarized groups on the trail of one elusive Bigfoot. In this riveting show, the Gulf Coast Bigfoot Organization, a group of hunters from different professional backgrounds, believe the giant, ape-like creatures of legend abound in the thousands in the Gulf Coast of the Southern United States. Their ultimate mission is to capture and kill a Bigfoot specimen, proving that it exists so they can ultimately create Bigfoot reserves. The series features the ongoing debate with a no-kill group who believe Bigfoot is human-like and killing one would be murder.

Murder U (New Series, Canadian Premiere) is on the case during its series premiere on Tuesday, April 19 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Each one-hour episode will introduce viewers to a different group of university friends while investigating how things went so horribly wrong. Using first-person testimony and dramatic re-enactments, the tragic stories are revealed in an emotional and powerful way. University is a world full of hopes and dreams, new friends, hard work and good times. But sometimes in the newfound freedom and exhilaration of campus life, murder strikes.

Badlands Texas (New Series, Canadian Premiere) debuts Wednesday, April 20 at 8 p.m. ET/9 p.m PT and delves into the eccentric world of Terlingua, Texas during the community’s struggle to reconcile the killing of a respected member of the community and its gut-wrenching murder trial. Lonely back roads, dilapidated RVs, smoky bars, the Rio Grande and the vast West Texas landscape set the stage for this tale of murder, survival, justice and the need for redemption.

Kings of the Wild (New Series, Canadian Premiere) introduces Josh James, a hunter from New Zealand and Matt Tebbut, a chef from the U.K. who are travelling to remote locations to show how they can eat like kings, in the most extreme conditions, thanks to their unique skill sets. Premiering Wednesday, April 20 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT, each episode will follow this intrepid duo in new, alien environments, as they prove that knowledge, passion and a touch of desperation are the key ingredients in conquering any terrain and creating restaurant-quality food in the wild.

New Episodes:

In Destination Truth (New Episodes, Network Premiere), airing Mondays at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.  Paranormal researcher Josh Gates, travels the globe with a team of researchers on the trail of strange creatures and paranormal phenomena. Along the way, this group interviews local residents and searches for physical evidence of these legendary creatures using night vision, thermal imaging cameras, electromagnetic field monitoring and other detection equipment. The field evidence they find is sent to the independent academic and scientific experts for analysis.

Behind the Screams (New Episodes, Canadian Premiere) airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT and explores terrifying, yet true cases that inspired many of the world’s greatest horror movies including Psycho, The Exorcist and Silence of the Lambs. Subjects include; Ronnie Milson, a possessed boy so horrifying that the Catholic Church sent a squadron of priests to exorcise him; John Wayne Gacy, a real killer clown; and Ed Gein, a Wisconsin serial killer with a mother fetish and a grave-robbing habit to match. Vivid images bring these bizarre, long-buried stories back to life, while interviews with experts reveal new insight into what really happened.

Killer Instinct (New Episodes, Canadian Premiere) examines some of America’s most disturbing and complex murder cases with extraordinary access to key witnesses and survivors. Airing Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT, audiences will witness compelling court and police archives, heart-breaking testimony from victims and their families, plus powerful dramatic reconstruction that will captivate them. Each episode features interviews with the killers themselves and harrowing accounts from the victims that lead to an emotional whirlwind of revelations.

T+E, a Blue Ant Media speciality channel, is packed with adventure and suspense and dedicated to telling heart‐stopping stories that leave audiences on the edge of their seat. Join adrenaline‐seeking personalities as they embrace new and often surprising situations. Featured series include Paranormal Survivor, Murder U and Killing Bigfoot. travelandescape.ca
