Landscape Artist of the Year (New Series, Canadian Premiere) debuts on Wednesday, June 22 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. From the producers of Makeful’s popular Portrait Artist of the Year, a shortlist of artists from all over Britain and Ireland will compete to paint beautiful landscapes of stunning locations in the UK. The winner of this prestigious landscape painting competition will receive a commission that will form part of a permanent collection. Expert judges – artist Tai Shan Schierenberg, curator Kathleen Soriano and art dealer Kate Bryan – circulate among the artists, assessing their skills. Some of the iconic landscapes painted throughout the competition include London’s Tower Bridge, Plas Newyd on the Menai Strait in Wales, Glencoe in the Highlands of Scotland and the dramatic cliffs of Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland.
Tattoo Tales (New Series, Canadian Premiere) premiering on Saturday, July 9 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT is a cutting edge docu-series that gives a unique and entertaining peek into Australian life from inside a tattoo studio on Sydney’s famous Bondi Beach tourist strip. The series follows the day-to-day antics and artistry inside the studio and captures the stories behind each tattoo, such as: a young mother who has survived three open-heart surgeries and wants her tattoo to illustrate her story of survival; a divorcee who wants her ex-partner’s name covered up for good; and a hairdresser who won’t be happy until his Spice Girls obsession is marked in ink.
Len & Ainsley’s Big Food Adventure (New Series, Canadian Premiere), launching on Sunday, July 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT follows Len Goodman, the charismatic British host of Dancing with the Stars, as he forgoes traditional British comfort food and reluctantly tries new flavours, recipes and cooking techniques. In this playful series, Len gives his old-fashioned taste buds a wake-up call with the help of top chef Ainsley Harriott who acts as guide and mentor on a culinary road-trip around Britain. Together Len and Ainsley seek out vibrant multi-cultural communities where restaurateurs and street-food vendors introduce them to their best-loved dishes. In each episode, Ainsley cooks a recipe inspired by their trip, determined to replace some of Len’s familiar staples with new food.

From the best roller coasters in the country to the inside of an airplane engine, MAKE IT BIG, make it small explores big experiences that make kids go wow. In every episode, the series’ two nine-year-old kids tour an extraordinary attraction and get to see a behind-the-scenes look at the science involved in everything from bouncing monster trucks to the attraction of butterflies at a conservatory.
