Distributor adds prime time factual entertainment, paranormal, lifestyle and 4K nature and wildlife series

(Toronto, ON, September 27, 2016) – Blue Ant International, a division of Blue Ant Media and leaders in global content distribution, is gearing up for MIPCOM with an expanded acquisition slate of over 90 new HD and 4K hours of factual entertainment, paranormal, lifestyle and native UHD wildlife and nature programming.
Latest factual entertainment titles include six-part series, I’ve Got Something To Tell You (6×60’HD), from UKTV, produced by Zig Zag Productions. Other new prime time series include, Collision Course (6×60’HD – Reelz) from Muse Entertainment, How The World Ends (6×60’HD – American Heroes Channel & T+E) from CMJ Productions II Inc. and National Parks Secrets and Legends (12×30’HD – Travel Channel US & T+E) from Galafilm. Also making their debut at the market this fall are native UHD originals, Wild Rockies (5×60’4K), Reef Wrecks (5×60’4K), Africa’s Underwater Wonders (5×60’4K) and four returning series, Great Blue Wild (8×60’4K), Hope For Wildlife (13×60’4K), Africa’s Wild Horizons (5×60’4K) and Wildlife Icons (6×60’4K).
To add to their recent third party acquisitions, Blue Ant International has secured the latest originals slate from US television network FidoTV. Titles acquired include Which Woof’s For Me? (6×30’HD), a series that helps viewers pick that perfect pup and Wolf Daddy (6×30’HD), which follows Executive Director, Leyton J. Cougar, as he dedicates his life to the rescue and rehabilitation of American wolves.
Also joining the distributor’s acquisition slate is MAKE IT BIG, make it small (7×30’ HD), a factual entertainment series, exploring big experiences that make kids go wow. By explaining epic science and technology, children are inspired to apply new knowledge to their own DIY projects.

New HD unscripted titles:
Starting off the HD unscripted round-up is factual entertainment series I’ve Got Something To Tell You (6×60’), a new show hosted by British television star and recording artist Amanda Holden, set in a purpose-built contemporary tea room in Hertfordshire, rigged with cameras that capture ordinary people with extraordinary life stories.
Collision Course (6×60’), produced by Muse Entertainment, dives deep into the scene of a plane, vehicle or motorcycle crash involving an iconic celebrity and dishes on the most provoking and controversial elements, while investigators dismantle these real life accidents.
From Blue Ant International’s recently announced exclusive production and distribution partnership with CMJ Productions II Inc., How The World Ends? (6×60’), is the first new original series to come out of this output deal. Originally commissioned by American Heroes Channel and T+E, this series explores some of the most widely held doomsday forecasts and their impending timeline to destruction.
Blue Ant International will also oversee the distribution of returning series National Parks Secrets & Legends, Season 2 (12×30’), a paranormal series telling bone-chilling stories of horrific catastrophes, occult murders and UFO phenomena.
New 4K unscripted titles:
Blue Ant International will represent new 4K wildlife and nature series including Wild Rockies (6×60’). Wild Rockies shares stories from Vancouver Island conservationists fighting to save the endangered and beloved wildlife of the Canadian Rockies. Other UHD wildlife and nature series to join the acquisition slate is Reef Wrecks (5×60’) and Africa’s Underwater Wonders (5×60’).
New additions to the catalogue also include Great Blue Wild, Season 2 (8×60’) as well as a returning favourite Hope For Wildlife, Season 7 (13×60’) which introduces audiences to Hope and her team at the Hope For Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre and follows them as they are put to the test and faced with the harshest Atlantic winter in over a century.
Rounding out the acquisitions slate is Africa’s Wild Horizons, Season 2 (5×60’), displaying the African country’s most diverse ecosystems. Also returning with a second season is Wildlife Icons (6×60’), a series that showcases unique individual stories of animals.
