ZooMoo and MNC Group Announce Collaboration to Take Animated Series Kiko Global

The partnership will see ZooMoo expand its animation offer across its network in EMEA, Australia, U.S. Hispanic and Latam/Brazil

Kiko (Seasons 1-2 104×11’; CGI) follows a fish-boy living in an underwater valley with his best friends. Together they navigate through adventures and solve problems to become the heroes of the day.

(SINGAPORE – October 8, 2018) – ZooMoo Networks, an interactive pre-school children’s broadcaster and Blue Ant Media channel, and MNC Group have announced today an agreement which will see the two parties collaborating to launch the award-winning children’s animated series, Kiko (Seasons 1-2; 104×11’; CGI), on all ZooMoo channels worldwide via a three year partnership deal. The two parties have also agreed to explore the possibility of co-producing additional seasons of Kiko in the years to come.

Kiko is the second original production from MNC Animation, a subsidiary company of MNC Group. First released in 2014, the show tells the story of a fish-boy living in ‘Asri Town’ an underwater valley where, together with his friends, they navigate through adventures and solve problems to become the heroes of the day, offering moral values to the audience through tales of courage and friendship.

The show has won several awards including Best Kid and Animation Programme at the 2016 Panasonic Gobel Awards and Favourite Local Children Programme at the 2017 Indonesian Television Awards.

Starting January 2019, Kiko’s first two seasons will be will available on ZooMoo in LATAM, EMEA, US Hispanic, Brazil and Australia.

ZooMoo Networks is an interactive, children’s nature broadcaster with television channels available in over 20 territories including Mexico, Latin America, Singapore, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, the Maldives, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand. ZooMoo Networks is a joint venture with DirectTV Latin America, an AT&T company, which holds a 30% stake in the company. The business’ television programming is comprised of over 500 hours of original content, combining spectacular wildlife footage with puppetry, animations and narration to create a unique viewing and learning experience for preschool viewers, aged 3-6. ZooMoo’s revolutionary second screen app provides multi-platform, interactive play for kids via iOS and Android devices.
