ZooMoo Networks Announces Commission of Pre-School Series, Kooki’s Crafty Show, from Beach House Kids Ahead of ATF

Kooki’s Crafty Show (26×11’;HD), commissioned by ZooMoo Networks, is produced by Beach House Pictures Kids

(Singapore – December 5, 2018) – ZooMoo Networks, an interactive pre-school children’s nature broadcaster announced from ATF today its latest commission, kids craft series Kooki’s Crafty Show (26×11’; HD). Produced by Beach House Kids, a division of Singapore-based  Beach House Pictures, Kooki’s Crafty Show is now in production. Scheduled for delivery in February 2019, the series will air on ZooMoo’s linear channels across Asia, LATAM, EMEA, US Hispanic, Brazil and Australia. Blue Ant International will oversee the series’ licensing, available for pre-sale at ATF.

Created for kids age 4-7, Kooki’s Crafty Show is a live-action pre-school series that empowers young children to unleash the wild side of their creativity through the magic of crafting. Hosted by a semi-suited, cheeky and playful red panda named Kooki, the series will feature two different crafts per episode. Projects will include recyclable crafts, painting and origami, with one craft always incorporating an animal theme. Kooki’s actions will be guided by the voice of a child who will ask Kooki to make things, explaining the process along the way.

Kooki’s Crafty Show is executive produced by Susan Oliver, Head of Beach House Kids. Sean Masterson serves as Director and Nicole Ghandi is Series Producer. Kooki’s Crafty Show is written by Jeannie Chia. Overseeing production on behalf of ZooMoo Networks is Harry Teper, SVP, Programming & Creative Services, Kids & Global Networks, Blue Ant Media.

ZooMoo Networks is an interactive, children’s nature broadcaster with television channels available in over 20 territories including Mexico, Latin America, Singapore, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, the Maldives, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand. ZooMoo Networks is a joint venture with DirectTV Latin America, an AT&T company, which holds a 30% stake in the company. The business’ television programming is comprised of over 500 hours of original content, combining spectacular wildlife footage with puppetry, animations and narration to create a unique viewing and learning experience for preschool viewers, aged 3-6. ZooMoo’s revolutionary second screen app provides multi-platform, interactive play for kids via iOS and Android devices.

Beach House Kids, a division of Beach House Pictures, was established in 2013 and is one of Asia’s leading kids producers with a library of over 200 hours of content. Key productions include the award-winning children’s factual series, Kids vs Film, which was the first local commission for Discovery Kids Asia; original pre-school series, Hiccup & Sneeze, created for OKTO; and live-action puppetry series, Teddies, co-produced with Northern Pictures Kids in partnership with Network Nine and Okto Junior. Beach House Kids has also produced more than 80 hours of programming for ZooMoo, a children’s nature broadcaster, airing programming that combines spectacular wildlife footage with puppetry, animation and narration for the Kids 2-7 category.
