(Washington, DC – April 23, 2020) – Love Nature 4K announces today the greenlight of two stunning, blue-chip, specialist factual series for its linear and online channels that reach an audience of 150 million viewers across 90 countries around the world. A Wild Year on Earth (6 x 60’; 4K), produced by Northern Pictures and narrated by actor Laura Carmichael (Downton Abbey, The Spanish Princess), is an epic look at how our planet’s most spectacular natural events interconnect with all life on earth over the course of a turbulent year. Dawn to Dusk (6 x 60’; 4K) produced by NHNZ, closely examines the intricate daily life cycles of fascinating creatures as they unfold all over the world. Both six-part docu-series are packed with captivating stories that draw viewers into the deep connection between wildlife and the natural environment. Northern Pictures and NHNZ are Blue Ant Studios companies. Blue Ant International will oversee the licensing of both series, which are now available for pre-sale.

Dramatic 4K footage, shot across Asia, Australia, Europe, Africa, North America and South America provides breathtaking spectacles such as black kites hunting in the flames of wildfire. Over the course of a turbulent year, the series reveals how the natural world and all of its creatures are profoundly connected to the Earth’s seasonal patterns, which, in the 21st Century, are becoming more extreme and dangerously unpredictable. Dawn to Dusk (6 x 60’; 4K; NHNZ) gives viewers an up-close and personal look at the daily dramas that a myriad of wildlife experience between sunrise and sunset. From the tropical forests of Asia to the arid Australian outback, the series unveils the finely-tuned and sometimes quirky routines of unique and exotic creatures as they face the trials and triumphs of life over a single day. The episodes showcase captivating details of animals in six diverse and extraordinary locations including the Americas, Asia, India and Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand, the sub-Antarctic Islands and the tropical Pacific. Viewers will see howler monkeys greet the first light of day with the loudest call in the animal kingdom, bats create a twilight tornado that closes the natural day, a Tibetan fox on the hunt for pika and a red panda napping midday after patrolling territory and marking scents.
