Crime series highlight the distributor’s multitude of sales in Asia across High-Impact Documentaries, Factual, Specialist Factual and Kids & Family content
(Toronto, Canada – December 1, 2020) – Heading into the Asian Television Forum (ATF) in Singapore, global distribution group, Blue Ant International, announces today that it has secured multiple sales for its premium crime-themed content, further expanding its reach in the Asian market. Pan Asian broadcaster A+E Networks Asia and True Visions (Thailand) as well as Chinese streaming service, Huan Xi Shou Ying, have all picked up popular crime titles. Included among these deals are: BTK: A Killer Among Us (Cream Productions), which chronicles the tragic crimes committed by infamous killer, Dennis Rader, and series such as The Killer in My Family (Woodcut Media), focusing on families of convicted killers and See No Evil (Arrow Media and Saloon Media, a Blue Ant Studios company), one of the distributor’s best-selling perennial series based on crimes caught on security cameras.
The placement of this premium crime programming highlights a plethora of recent sales the distributor has secured across Asia, brokered by Kate Blank, Senior Director, International Sales, Blue Ant International. Over the past six months, Blank has secured sales of more than 950 hours of content with broadcast and streaming platforms in China, Thailand, South Korea, Indonesia and Japan across Blue Ant International’s High-Impact Documentaries, Factual, Specialist Factual and Kids & Family categories.
