Homeful gives audiences exclusive access to hundreds of hours of series featuring real estate, renovations and home transformations
(Toronto, ON – April 14, 2022) International producer, distributor and channel operator, Blue Ant Media announced today the launch of the free, ad-supported streaming channel, Homeful, on The Roku Channel in the U.S. and Canada. Homeful features some of the most well-decorated faces in home design TV, giving audiences a programming lineup stacked with real estate, renovations and transformations that they love to binge, much of it exclusive in the free streaming ecosystem. The launch of Homeful builds on Blue Ant Media’s momentum and expansion into the emerging free streaming space around the world and expands Blue Ant Media’s existing partnership with The Roku Channel across North America. The Roku Channel now carries Blue Ant Media’s roster of free-streaming channel brands, including Love Nature in the U.S. in both English and Spanish; HauntTV in the U.S. and Canada; in addition to TotalCrime in the U.S., and its sister channel CrimeTime, in Canada.
“We’re excited to build on our relationship with the Roku Channel and see a huge opportunity to serve audiences in the free-streaming space with renovation and decor-inspired programming,” says Jamie Schouela, President, Global Channels and Media, Blue Ant Media. “This is a category we’re committed to investing in the long term by working with producers to commission original content for Homeful in the future.”
Homeful offers audiences inspiration and feel-good moments with real estate, design and decor projects that help make a house a home, such as Moving the McGillivrays (10 x 60’), available on The Roku Channel in the U.S., which features celebrity TV designer Scott McGillivray and his wife Sabrina, as they plan and build their forever home for their young family, while also building a home for a hard-working family in need. Additional Homeful highlights now available on The Roku Channel across the U.S. and Canada include: Candice Tells All (78 x 30’), starring design expert Candice Olson who takes on signature makeovers that showcase new mediums and art forms, giving viewers an up-close look into her busy and often-hilarious world; What’s For Sale? (13 x 30′), which follows families on the hunt to purchase their ultimate vacation home, with the help of a realtor Rob Serediuk; Decks, Docks and Gazebos (26 x 30’), a one-of-a-kind renovation show that focuses on transforming cabin properties and follows host Jason Lake as he takes projects from humble and sometimes decrepit beginnings to stunning completions; and Sarah’s Summer Rental (6 x 30’) featuring TV design celebrity Sarah Richardson as she revives and transforms a 1950’s era family cottage on a remote island location into a profitable rental property.
The launch grants The Roku Channel’s U.S. and Canadian audiences unlimited and free access to Blue Ant Media’s extensive library of original and acquired design and decor-inspired programming. Streamers can find Homeful on The Roku Channel in the “Live TV” section on their Roku® streaming player or Roku TV™ device.
