All five seasons of fan favorite series, Kim’s Convenience are now enjoyed by Peacock’s wide U.S. audience

(Toronto, Canada  – September 10, 2026) –  Blue Ant Media announced today the sale of the acclaimed comedy series, Kim’s Convenience (65 x 30’) to Peacock, NBCUniversal’s premium streaming service in the U.S.. As part of the deal, Blue Ant Rights & Streaming has licensed all five seasons of Kim’s Convenience to stream on Peacock, giving new and returning viewers across the U.S. access to every episode of the award-winning series. The deal builds on the company’s multifaceted relationship with Peacock, which has included original productions, the launch of the Love Nature streaming channel and acquisitions of Blue Ant-distributed programming, while expanding the partnership further into premium scripted content.

“Securing a home for Kim’s Convenience on Peacock is a significant milestone for Blue Ant Rights & Streaming that signals our growing presence in the premium scripted space,” says Bryan Gabourie, EVP, Content Monetization and Head of Americas, Blue Ant Rights & Streaming. “Peacock is a valued partner across the spectrum of Blue Ant businesses, and bringing Kim’s Convenience to the platform allows this beloved series to continue reaching its existing U.S. fanbase while being discovered by an entirely new generation of fans as well.”

Based on Ins Choi’s award-winning play of the same name, Kim’s Convenience follows the funny and heartfelt misadventures of a Korean-Canadian family running a convenience store in Toronto. The series stars Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Jean Yoon, Andrea Bang, Simu Liu, Andrew Phung and Nicole Power. Created by Ins Choi and Kevin White, the series was produced by Thunderbird Entertainment, now part of Blue Ant Studios, in association with Soulpepper Theatre Company and originally commissioned by CBC.
