(Toronto, ON – April 16, 2019) – Blue Ant International and the UK’s new indie production company Zeppelin Films have signed an exclusive two-year first-look distribution deal agreement. The deal gives Blue Ant International the format and distribution rights to all future content and includes Zeppelin’s two recently announced commissions Rich Kids Go Homeless (6 x 60’) and Respect Your Elders (4 x 60’). A division of Blue Ant Media, Blue Ant International is a worldwide distributor of premium content. The deal was brokered by VP, International Sales & Acquisitions, Alex Maldini.

This first-look deal includes all scripted and non-scripted programmes produced by Zeppelin until 2021. Former BBC commissioning editor Elliot Reed launched Zeppelin Films this year. Reed’s most recent credits include the factual drama Murdered By My Father, Professor Green: Suicide and Me, and Trust Me I’m a Doctor.
The two new series Rich Kids Go Homeless, which follows wealthy British 20-somethings who experience life on the streets for three days and Respect Your Elders, a series that sees one young person living with a one over 70-year-old per episode, will compliment Blue Ant International’s growing slate of factual entertainment.
