Program boasts 300K views across video, editorial and social platforms
#ULTIMATEESCAPE
(Toronto, ON, November 12, 2015) – Cottage Life, a Blue Ant Media specialty channel and Ford Motor Company of Canada Limited have launched the fourth installment of its new Roadside Attractions content marketing program, in partnership with Blue Hive Canada and Google. The highly successful campaign has experienced over 300K views across Cottage Life platforms and Google’s YouTube.
In its fourth year, Roadside Attractions continues to highlight the Ford Escape and encourages Canadians to pursue more weekend adventures. This year, the program took new a spin, surprising and delighting real people with an “Ultimate Escape” experience, moving away from its original hosted series concept.
“We thought by switching gears a bit and changing the format of the program would keep it new, without deviating too far away from what the core of Roadside Attractions really is” said Sharon Brown, Group Media Director, Blue Hive Canada. “By partnering with Blue Ant Media and Google, we are tapping into the strength of both partners and we anticipate a huge success.”
Roadside Attractions pieces can be located and shared via the campaign’s content hub. From videos to editorial, social to broadcast spots, this well-rounded program offers a series of stories definitive of weekend living.
“We continue to experience extraordinary success on this campaign and we’re thrilled to see so many ‘Cottage Lifers’ participating and surprising their loved ones” said Ryan Fuss, SVP, Media Solutions, Blue Ant Media. “We value the ongoing partnership with Ford, as they have been able to help us bring these uniquely Canadian adventures to those across Canada.”
