Love Nature 4K Announces Continued EMEA Expansion with new Channel Launch in Turkey via TV+

Dogs with Extraordinary Jobs (5×50’; 4K and HD) will be one of Love Nature 4K’s originals included in the channel’s programming for Turkcell in 4K and HD

(London, UK – January 24, 2019) – Love Nature 4K, a joint venture with Blue Ant Media and Smithsonian Networks, announced today that its premium wildlife and nature linear TV service has launched on Turkey’s leading pay-TV platform TV+ in 4K and HD in Turkey both on IPTV and OTT.  The deal was brokered by Chiara McKee, Vice-President, EMEA, Kids & Global Networks, Blue Ant Media.

Turkcell subscribers will have exclusive access to Love Nature 4K’s extensive library of original programming which includes hundreds of hours of natural history content in 4K and HD.

Highlights of this content will include Love Nature 4K’s recent original commissions, Dogs with Extraordinary Jobs (5×50’; 4K and HD)  which introduces a set of inspiring stories that reveal how dogs’ natural abilities are being harnessed by scientists, rescuers and the disadvantaged to improve lives, increase safety and maintain the health and biodiversity of our planet; and Orangutan Jungle School (NHNZ; 10×60′; HDR + 4K + HD) the 10-part docu-soap that follows the hilarious antics, triumphs and tragedies of a group of orphaned orangutans as they progress through a unique forest school system.

Love Nature 4K’s channel distribution has grown significantly over the last 12 months with 4K channel launches in Argentina, The UK and Ireland on Virgin TV, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Canada, Indonesia, Myanmar, Papa New Guinea, Fiji, Qatar, Thailand and The Maldives; and HD channels also airing in Nigeria and Singapore. The brand’s streaming video service, available in 60+ countries worldwide, has also notably launched on Amazon Channels UK, Amazon Channels Germany and Austria and Vodafone TV in New Zealand in the last 12 months.
