Love Nature SVOD Launches On Amazon Channels UK

Love Nature joins Amazon Channels UK’s line-up of subscription TV channels now available for Amazon Prime members

Love Nature’s streaming video app, now available in 60 countries worldwide, has recently expanded into Indonesia, Thailand, Russia, Colombia and Morocco, to name a few

The Big Dry, a three part series from Love Nature’s celebrated co-production project with Plimsoll Productions, Camp Zambia, is available to Prime members in the UK through Amazon Channels from today

London, UK (May 23, 2017) – Love Nature, a joint venture between Blue Ant Media and Smithsonian Networks, announced today that its streaming video service, available in 60 countries worldwide, has launched on Amazon Channels in the UK.

Amazon Prime members in the UK will now have the opportunity to access Love Nature’s stunning wildlife and nature content by signing up for subscription to its streaming video app through Amazon Channels. Love Nature’s current programming lineup includes the UK exclusive of The Big Dry (3×60’), from its celebrated natural history production partnership with Plimsoll Productions, Camp Zambia. Programming highlights also include the UK premiere of Ocean Voyagers (1×70’), an Off the Fence documentary narrated by Meryl Streep, exploring motherhood and parenting in the breathtaking underwater world.

With the launch of Amazon Channels, Prime members can now add a wide range of TV channels to their Prime Video membership, live and on demand All Channels are available via the existing Prime Video app, with the same user experience, one-click to subscribe and play, and available anytime, anywhere, offering customers an easy and straightforward way to choose the TV entertainment they want.

“For the first time, Prime members in the UK will be able to choose to watch premium TV channels without having to sign up to a bundle or a contract, giving them the freedom to pay for only what they want to watch,” said Alex Green, MD, Europe, Amazon Channels.

Amazon Channels are available via the existing Prime Video app to watch anytime, anywhere through the Amazon Video app on Smart TVs, mobile devices (iOS and Android), Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, Fire tablets and games consoles, and www.amazon.co.uk/channels.

Love Nature is also available on mobile and tablet (iOS and Android), Sony Android TV, Philips Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Nexus Player, Roku Streaming Players and XBox One. The ad-free app offers a £3.99 monthly subscription, or price equivalent, across all 60 launch territories after a one-month free trial and is available on Amazon Appstore, Google Play, Roku’s Channel Store and LoveNature.com.

Love Nature is currently shooting in over 40 locations around the world including Asia, Africa, Australia, the Middle East and South America. The brand’s recent production and distribution output deal with Blink Productions will see the two parties co-producing 24 hours of wildlife and nature content over the next two years.
