(Toronto, Canada — February 19, 2026) Blue Ant Rights, the distribution arm of Blue Ant Studios, today unveiled an expanded slate of 40 new and returning premium titles that it is debuting at its London Screenings event on February 26th. The line-up delivers the premium, access-driven storytelling the distributor is known for across in-demand genres, such as factual entertainment, crime, high-impact documentaries, while introducing primetime scripted to its genre mix. The offering comes as Blue Ant Rights continues to grow its global catalogue, which now surpasses 9,000 hours following Blue Ant Media’s acquisition of Thunderbird Entertainment.

As part of its move into primetime scripted, Blue Ant Rights is introducing three new titles, Suspect, Elkhorn and In The Pines. The distributor is working with industry veteran Leona Connell, who has joined the team as Senior Scripted Consultant, underscoring its commitment to building its scripted offering.

The slate also features returning format The Jury (Australia:S2): Skeleton in the Garden studio-commissioned investigative series World’s Most Secret Places, a powerful slate of true crime titles including Fatal First Dates and Murder USA, as well as contemporary documentaries Deepfaking Sam Altman and Beyond the Silk Road, reinforcing Blue Ant’s commitment to delivering bold, globally relevant stories with scale, access and impact.

“This year’s London Screenings slate reflects the continued evolution of our business,” said Mark Bishop, Co-President, Blue Ant Studios. “We’re expanding into primetime scripted while continuing to strengthen our offering across documentary, factual entertainment and formats. With a growing catalogue and an increased ability to leverage our collective strength across our distribution, expanded studios production and channels businesses, we’re able to offer partners flexible deal structures, tailored content packages and exclusive windowing opportunities.”

SCRIPTED

In the Pines (6 x 60 HD, Meta Films)
Inspired by real events, this six-part scripted series is a character-driven crime drama set inside a dangerous criminal enterprise built on deception. Sara, a down-on-her-luck outsider, is drawn into a high-stakes world by Dan, a regular guy who’s just trying to support himself and his daughter. Their friendship feels real, and their paths intertwine more and more – until a shocking event turns the tables on everything they know about each other. What begins as a way to get by quickly becomes something much harder to escape. As their paths intertwine, and the deeper they go, every connection raises the question of who is telling the truth and who may be playing another game.

Elkhorn (18 x 60 HD, Morningstar Entertainment)
Elkhorn is an action-packed Western that presents the coming-of-age story of a young man, Theodore Roosevelt, who must overcome an unimaginable personal tragedy when his mother and wife die on the same day.

Suspect (2 x 90 HD, Orchard Studios)
This compelling factual drama series revolves around the police interrogations of prime suspects in real-life high profile true crime cases. From the moment our suspects enter the police station, to the moment they are charged or released, this gripping scripted format follows the minute-by-minute story of those critical hours in the interview room. Based on meticulous research and detailed transcripts, the films inter-cut the real-time interrogation with flashbacks to the crime scene, and documentary-style interviews with key characters in the story.

CRIME

Killers Caught on Camera S4 (10 x 60 HD, back2back Productions)
An access-driven series that uncovers the shocking footage and psychological insights behind killers’ convictions. Through unseen CCTV, police body cam and mobile footage, this series explores how everyday interactions can escalate into deadly violence. Each episode reveals the critical role that digital forensics, cameras and social media play in building evidence. Featuring in-depth expert analysis, the series delves into the science of solving murder, showing how we are all witnesses in a highly monitored world. With exclusive footage and firsthand accounts, Killers: Caught on Camera offers a gripping look at the terrifying moments that lead to tragedy.

Last Night Out S2 (10 x 60 HD, FirstLookTV)
This true crime series examines real-life cases where lives were lost during what should have been carefree moments—nights out with friends, family celebrations and intimate evenings with loved ones. Each episode takes a deep dive into the victim’s final hours, blending emotional testimonies with investigative storytelling to uncover how trust was shattered, relationships turned deadly, and opportunities to prevent tragedy were missed. Through interviews with families, friends and experts, Last Night Out shows how a single night can change everything, forever altering countless lives.

Murder USA (30 x 60 HD, FirstLookTV)
Who is the killer? Where is the killer? What’s going to happen next? This is a series that plunges us into the place and moment of a murder. It’s a plot-driven observational documentary boosted by the assets of local newsrooms exclusively available to our series. Witnesses to events join experts who unravel the setbacks and breakthroughs of homicide cases and survey the emotional wreckage from which folks rebuild their lives. Using video assets from the day of the crime, Murder USA will reveal all.

Fatal Fraud (10 x 60 HD, Hello Mary)
From homicides and heists to ransoms and robberies gone wrong, cash is at the centre of many criminal investigations. This series profiles a number of shocking crimes motivated by money; a range of cases in which financial fraud spiralled out of control and led to murder. Through interviews with experts and contemporary archives, each episode explores how overwhelming greed triggered a chain of devastating events with deadly consequences. By analysing the perpetrators and their victims, we follow the money to unpack the part finance played in each felony.

The Jury: Skeleton in the Garden (5 x 60 HD, Northern Pictures presented in association with Screen NSW)
The Jury (Australia) format returns after its award-winning first instalment with a compelling new case in this internationally adaptable jury-room format. A real-life manslaughter trial is restaged with complete fidelity, using actors to deliver court transcripts word for word. Twelve ordinary jurors are sequestered to deliberate a cold case involving the discovery of a woman’s remains in the garden of an elderly retiree. As they weigh circumstantial evidence and opposing legal arguments behind closed doors, the series builds to a final revelation from an unexpected source that leaves the jury profoundly shaken.

Fatal First Dates (10 x 60 HD, Perpetual Entertainment)
This is a global true crime series that investigates horrific stories of deadly first dates and the circumstances that led up to these fatal encounters. Everyone is looking for a deep and meaningful connection, one way or another. Unfortunately, sometimes the person you’re about to meet isn’t who they’ve claimed to be online or over the phone.

Bodies on the Bridge (2 x 60 HD, Longwave Studios)
A gripping two-part documentary that unravels one of the most disturbing murder investigations in recent UK history. When Colombian national Yostin Mosquera fled Bristol’s Clifton Suspension Bridge in July 2024, leaving behind two suitcases leaking blood, police soon uncovered a crime that led back to a quiet flat in West London – and into a hidden world of exploitation, secrecy and violence. Through exclusive interviews with the senior police investigators who led the case alongside friends and acquaintances of the victims, the series reconstructs how a long-distance relationship spiralled into a double murder. Drawing on extensive CCTV, bodycam footage and court evidence, this film goes beyond the headlines to examine trust, power and the dark consequences of lives lived partly in the shadows.

Poisonous Liaisons S2 (13 x 60 HD, White Spark Pictures)
Poison has long been a weapon of choice; in desperate cases of defence, jealousy, inheritance and of course for revenge. Through interviews with criminal experts and psychiatrists, Poisonous Liaisons delves into the thought process of some of history’s most notorious criminals including Lyda Southard, Nannie Doss and Graham Young, revealing their methods and the short and long-term effects their substances had on victims. At the end of each episode their crimes are fully revealed, keeping the audience gripped through a stunning narrative that details the series of events leading up to these heinous acts of murder.

Not an elder or a chief, but a young woman who is at a crossroads in her life, questioning her future. The discovery of previously unseen archives combined with current global events including war, economic crisis and the scarcity of natural resources adds to the contemporary resonance of this story. While Margarita’s unique coming of age story drives us forward in the here and now, it will be given depth and power through access to rare and intimate footage of her family, stretching back over 20 years. With Margarita’s voice always at the centre, she helps us weave together past and present in a story of extraordinary change.

Deepfaking Sam Altman (1 x 90 / 1 x 60 HD, Hartbeat Productions, Vox Media Studios, & All Facts)
