Ahead of the series’ global premiere on Netflix on September 10, fans can dive further into the world of Crew Girl with a new young adult novel from Hachette.
Written by Sheila McClure, the novel follows rower Teagan Tao as she starts over at the prestigious Easton Prep and takes the helm of its notoriously chaotic boys’ varsity crew.
Based on the Crew Girl television series developed by Vivian Lin and Morwyn Brebner, the book brings the show’s world of rivalry, romance and high-stakes competition to the page.
Kate Agar, Publishing Director at Hachette Children’s Group, signed the deal for novelisation rights with Vienna Downes at Blue Ant Media. Rights deals have already been agreed with Hachette US in North America and Hachette Romans in France.
