Blue Ant Media will partner with BILD to operate three annual live events including the country’s largest 10-day consumer show, the National Home Show
The three home-focused shows will join the company’s roster of live events across Canada, including the Spring and Fall Cottage Life Shows, the Ottawa Cottage Life and Backyard Show, the Seasons Christmas Show and the Spring and Fall Baby Shows in Toronto and Vancouver

(Toronto, ON – October 12, 2022) – Global media company, Blue Ant Media, and BILD, the Greater Toronto Area’s Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD), have entered into a partnership which will see Blue Ant assuming majority control and operation of the Toronto Home Shows. The lineup includes three premium annual consumer events: Home & Reno Show (February 2023), Canada’s largest 10-day consumer show, The National Home Show (March 2023) and Fall Home Show (September 2023). The existing team of Toronto Home Shows’ employees will join Blue Ant and report into Greg McLeod, VP, Consumer Shows. The deal underpins Blue Ant Media’s mission to expand and diversify its portfolio of live events across Canada, which span a number of lifestyle categories from cottage living to parenting, holiday shopping to celebrating the maker culture. It also deepens the company’s commitment to invest in the home and lifestyle category, following the launch of free streaming channel Homeful earlier in the year and recent acquisition of the Mike Holmes library.

Greg McLeod serves as VP of Consumer Shows at Blue Ant Media. He is charged with overseeing operations of the Spring and Fall Cottage Life Shows, Ottawa Cottage Life & Backyard Show, Seasons Christmas Show, Fall Home Show, Home & Reno Show and The National Home Show.
Prior to Blue Ant Media, McLeod served as an Account Manager for Cottage Life Media where he managed exhibitor space and advertising sales for Cottage Life’s consumer shows and publications. Blue Ant Media acquired Cottage Life Media in 2012. McLeod holds an MBA from York University’s Schulich School of Business.
