Nationwide two month free preview launches Today in over 10 million households
Toronto, ON (March 16, 2015) – Spring has sprung and cottage-dwellers across the country can gear up for another season of weekend living by tuning in to Cottage Life for a refreshed lineup of new series, seasons and episodes starting on Wednesday, March 18. The schedule, which features international designers creating a rustic masterpiece far from home in Colin & Justin’s Cabin Pressure and a quirky sibling team showing off extreme home projects in the DIY series Brojects, is sure to both entertain and build viewers’ anticipation for their own summer getaways.
Coinciding with this new programming, Cottage Life is opening up its “doors” to viewers coast-to-coast, offering a free preview of the network to cable and satellite subscribers for two months beginning Today in over 10 million households. This broadcast event will offer audiences a chance to sample Cottage Life’s spring schedule and catch up on programs through VOD offerings from select service providers.

Kicking off the schedule is season 2 of Decks, Docks & Gazebos, premiering Wednesday, March 18 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. In this series, host Jason Lake takes on cottage upgrades from rough planning to final construction. These one-of-a-kind projects include a deck that captures the perfect view, a dock with great lake access and a striking gazebo ideal for entertaining.
The highly anticipated return of Colin & Justin’s Cabin Pressure will take place on Sunday, March 22 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. In season 2, international designers Colin and Justin land a rustic lakefront property and turn another fixer-upper into the ultimate cottage paradise. Fans of the design duo can watch as they sketch, construct and collaborate—all while battling bugs and a tiny budget—to create a space even celebrities would envy.
On Tuesday, March 24 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT, the premiere of What’s for Sale? will provide real-estate curious viewers with an insider’s look at the best cabins, homes and lakefront properties on the market. Rob Serediuk hosts a second season of this insightful and entertaining series, giving a weekly tour of the best Ontario has to offer, from Muskoka and Haliburton to The Kawarthas and Prince Edward County.
From floating saunas to kids’ play forts to bowling alley docks, season 2 of Brojects promises even more extreme builds designed by quirky brothers Kevin and Andrew to take their cottage to the next level. Audiences can tune in to the season premiere on Thursday, March 26 at 9 p.m. ET/PT to watch the siblings deal with deadlines, complications and brotherly heckling—all so they can create the ultimate cottage weekend.
George Clarke’s Shed of the Year, premiere’s on Saturday, April 4 at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT. In this series, host George Clarke visits a garden shed with a roof allotment, an egg-shaped studio, a 21-foot teapot, several pub sheds and many more, all to answer the ultimate question: which design will be crowned Shed of the Year?
Rounding out the schedule is Buying the Bayou, returns on Tuesday, May 5 at 9pm ET/PT for a fifth season. The series shows that in the Bayou, the food isn’t the only thing that’s got spice! Audiences will learn that this unique real estate market is bursting with property as extraordinary as the people and culture around it.
