Publication takes home trophies from annual industry galas hosted by the Canadian Society of Magazine Editors and the National Magazine Awards Foundation

(Toronto, ON, June 11, 2015) – Cottage Life, a Blue Ant Media publication, took home trophies for Canadian Society of Magazine Editors’ (CSME) Magazine of the Year and National Magazine Awards Foundation’s (NMAF) new Best Brand award at each of the organization’s annual galas in Toronto last week.

Surrounded by some of the biggest names and brands in the Canadian magazine industry, Cottage Life was honoured with Magazine of the Year, Medium Circulation (50,000 – 149,000) at CSME’s Editors Choice Awards on June 3. This is the third consecutive year that Cottage Life has taken the accolade.
New to the NMAF’s National Magazine Awards categories this year was Best Brand, an accolade that celebrated Cottage Life for presenting a brand that best delivers on their editorial mandate through at least three platforms, including print or digital magazines, websites, mobile apps, tablets and television shows, to name a few. On June 5, jury members selected Cottage Life for the coveted award because its extensions in digital, broadcast, events and e-commerce are perfectly aligned with the brand DNA, dominating the niche the magazine created, while continuing to grow, refresh and take risks.
