Former Head of YouTube Canada Arrives at Omnia Media
Dan Lubetkin, known for his work on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and Comedy Central’s Workaholics and Adam Devine’s House Party, joins Omnia Media’s Expanded Executive Team among other key appointments

The announcement arrives after Blue Ant Media’s 100% acquisition of the digital video network earlier in 2016. Brown is a former YouTube executive, who served as Head of YouTube Canada and most recently, Head of Corporate Development at Victorious. In his new role, he is tasked with overseeing Omnia’s evolution in original content and multi-platform publishing.

Omnia Media’s Executive team expansion includes the appointment of Dan Lubetkin to Chief Content Officer. Lubetkin, former SVP, Production & Development for Avalon Television, is a veteran content creator in Hollywood and is well known for his work on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and Comedy Central’s Workaholics and Adam Devine’s House Party. Bringing to the table a keen ability to develop programming for millennial audiences, Lubetkin is charged with building a world-class development slate for Omnia’s digital originals, including several series already in production or development. Lubetkin is also integral to the company’s goals to grow its IP ownership.
Also new to Omnia is Greg Kampanis who joins the team as SVP, Operations and Mike Waghalter as SVP, Business Development. Kampanis joins Omnia from izo (formerly DanceOn) where he served as SVP, Studio overseeing the company’s digital content development, production, distribution and business development. Drawing from his background at South Park Digital Studios, Viacom, and E!, Kampanis will lead the development and management of Omnia’s owned and operated properties such as Arcade Cloud and Makeful. Most recently serving as Head of Business Development at BuzzFeed Motion Pictures, Waghalter brings 10+ years of experience leading multi-platform content monetization and strategy for top media companies including Fox, Comcast and Discovery.
Rose Ferraro continues to lead as SVP, Brand Sales and Austin Long remains as VP, Gaming Partnerships and Strategy.
