Homeful gives audiences exclusive access to hundreds of hours of series featuring real estate, renovations and home transformations
Homeful is Blue Ant Media’s fourth channel in a suite of niche FAST channels that operate across multiple free streaming platforms in the U.S. and around the world
(Toronto, ON – February 16, 2022) International producer, distributor and channel operator, Blue Ant Media announced today the launch of its new FAST channel, Homeful, on the free, ad-supported streaming service, XUMO. Homeful features some of the most well-decorated faces in home design TV, giving audiences a programming lineup stacked with real estate, renovations and transformations that they love to binge, much of it exclusive in the free streaming ecosystem. Homeful is an extension of Blue Ant Media’s existing partnership with Xumo, which also includes the Love Nature FAST channel, which launched on the platform in May 2020. The lifestyle channel joins XUMO’s growing roster of more than 200 channels across 12 different genres, currently available to millions of viewers via a multiscreen network of smart TVs, mobile devices and streaming boxes.
“Homeful, which is packed with fan favourite, exclusive home-themed series, is a great addition to our growing portfolio of free streaming channels that super-serve niche audiences with compelling content they love to lean back and enjoy,” says Jamie Schouela, President, Global Channels and Media, Blue Ant Media. “This channel will fill a gap in the FAST landscape for home-themed content and provide inspiration at a time when renovations and redecorating are a hot topic as we all spend more time at home.”
Homeful is Blue Ant’s Media second free streaming channel to launch in the U.S. in February, following TotalCrime which debuted earlier in the month. They join a growing roster of Blue Ant FAST channels that also include Love Nature and HauntTV.
Homeful offers audiences inspiration and feel-good moments with real estate, design and decor projects that help make a house a home. Highlights on the channel include: Sarah 101 (27 x 30’), a back-to-basics crash course in design as seen by TV design celebrity Sarah Richardson, whose tips and tricks can solve design problems in any room in any home. Sarah and her design sidekick Tommy Smythe break down the process for translating inspiration into step-by-step ways to redesign a space with a you-can-do-it attitude; Candice Tells All (78 x 30’), starring design expert Candice Olson who takes on signature makeovers that showcase new mediums and art forms, giving viewers an up-close look into her busy and often-hilarious world; What’s For Sale? (13 x 30′), which follows families on the hunt to purchase their ultimate vacation home. With the help of a rock star realtor Rob Serediuk, viewers’ watch as the family explores three properties and decides on which get away is the one for them; and Lakes, Docks and Decks (8 x 30’) which follows two expert dock builders who elevate dilapidated waterfronts to the next level with their beautiful and clever designs. Each episode follows the step-by-step process from conception to construction to the final reveal of the waterfront oases.
Blue Ant Media’s suite of FAST (free, ad-supported streaming TV) channels offer audiences curated programming that is easy and free to access on platforms like The Roku Channel, XUMO, Samsung TV Plus, VIZIO WatchFree+ and PrendeTV. The company’s growing global portfolio of FAST channels worldwide include Love Nature, HauntTV, CrimeTime/TotalCrime, and Homeful.
